Thank you for your interest in making a donation to The Muskoka Foundation, we really do appreciate it.
Although we use only volunteers to provide our training programs and develop curricula, we do have expenses that arise from running our programs including program costs, intern and staff costs, technology and operating expenses. We try to run as lean as we can, but to make sure things don't fall apart, we would value any contribution that you can make so that we can keep providing our programs and not charge our volunteers nor partners.
As a founding philosophy, we are oriented much more towards providing a hand-up, rather than a hand-out so we also really appreciate your support in providing equipment and supplies for our programs, which do cost money and eat into our operating budget. If you would consider donating some of these materials in kind, then that would free us to have more money for actually running our programs.

Children's Photography Program:
Teaches children around the world how to use digital cameras, and publish their images for sale to earn local income.
Local Music Recording Program:
Meet and record unsigned local musicians, and sell their music in the global marketplace, generating local income.
Work with local schools to improve the quality of their programs through educational software and connected PC's.
Establish sports programs in communities by working with local adult coaches & mentors.
