Much like our travelers, the Muskoka Communities are spread around the world. It would be impossible for us to manage the broad reach of this network, and ensure the high level of quality and integrity that we demand, if it were not for our amazing local partners. These non-profit organizations are passionate about the communities they operate it, and they have the best interests of those communities deeply ingrained in their missions. Marsh Memorial Homes, Cape Town, South Africa
Marsh Memorial Homes is a residential care facility based in Rondebosch, Cape Town, providing a safe haven for around 60 children at risk. Established by the Revered E.T. Marsh in 1901, MMH initially catered only for orphans. It has since evolved to become a multi-cultural facility,catering for children whose homes are beset with financial difficulties, drug/alcohol problems or physical abuse, and who have suffered emotional trauma as a result.
